僕が一番いやなのは、自分は小高い丘の上に立ったまま一歩も動こうとはせず、そこからボソボソと低く小さい声でこちらに話しかけ、僕がそこへわざわざ近づいて話を聞きにくるということを当たり前だと思うような人や状況だ。言いたいことがあったとき、その相手の近くに、自分から動いていくか、それができないなら近づかなくても意思を伝え合えるように大声を出すとか、あるいは電話やメールをするとかするのが当然だと僕は思う。自分の伝えたいことを伝えるために、相手が自分のもとへ来るのが当然だと、そして自分は自分の場所を1ミリだって動かず、しかもいつまでもその声は小さいまま喋り続ける人というのがいて、それは僕の中にもあるが、本当にこまる。
